A new paper brings clarity for environmental accounting of landscapes

17/7/2022

Our Lead Consultant, Ro, along with a group of co-authors, has a new academic journal article out which aims to demystify the complicated world of environmental accounting.

The article, titled Unlocking environmental accounting for healthy future landscapes has been published in the peer-reviewed People and Nature journal.

In this article, Ro and her co-authors provide the first substantial exploration of environmental accounting in the context of landscapes. Ro hopes that this article will help clarify what environmental accounting is, and how it could be useful for improving the health of our landscapes.

This article is intended to be a useful resource for both academics and practitioners working to improve the health of our landscapes. Ro hopes this work will contribute to the academic discussion about how society improves the health of our landscapes.

There is a summary available and the full article is open access for everyone to read free of charge.

This is the first research paper Ro has published from her PhD. She is looking forward to continuing her research into environmental accounting and its role in creating healthy landscapes.
